5 Star is an environmentally responsible asphalt/tar remover and cleaner that will safely break down and emulsify hardened adhered asphalt, tar, and asphalt sealers. 5 Star’s non-evaporating, insoluble formula will dissolve stubborn build-ups. The dissolved asphalt can then easily be removed from tools and equipment with water.
5 Star is paint-friendly and when applied to painted surfaces, the removal agent can be safely washed away with soap and water or an industrial cleaner. 5 Star is a USDA Certified biobased product. It is 100% biodegradable. The formula is non-hazardous as defined by the United States OSHA Hazard Communication standard. 5 Star will not burn workers’ skin. No precautions other than clean body covering clothing is needed.
