Appearing in Mobile Suit Gundam F91, the F91 Gundam was a prototype Mobile Suit developed by the Strategic Naval Research Institute [SNRI] based on the F90V Gundam F90 VSBR Type. The Formula Project was meant to break the industry's limit at the time and set a new standard for mobile suits, and the F91 was developed as part of the project equipping it with various advanced technology including a bio-computer.
Main weapons of the F91 Gundam include the Mega Machine Cannon located on its chest, Beam Rifle, Variable Speed Beam Rifle equipped on its backpack, and the handheld Beam Launcher.
This model kit includes the F91 Gundam itself along with the back cannon expansion pack and the twin-V.S.B.R. expansion pack.

From the Mobile Suit Gundam F91-MSV, Bandai Spirits and Premium Bandai announces the release of both Back Cannon & Twin VSBR Type Ver. equipment expansion sets for the MG 1/100 Gundam F91 Ver. 2.0! - One unit of Gundam F91 is already included in the kit to enjoy the variant weapons and equipment.

The kit is also completed with Gundam F91's basic equipment set which includes a beam rifle, a beam shield, and two beam sabers. The kit also includes an action base to help the kit maximize its display presentation.
