The Shimano Plays 4000 Electric Reel offers all the features of Shimano's Electric Power Assisted reels but in a compact overhead size for ease of operation. The Plays 4000 offers both a standard vertical retrieve using the power dial or automatic jigging mode, making it suited to fishing baits and jigs. Featuring a fine dot LCD screen for clear display, anglers are able to accurately track the positioning of your bait or lure in the water column, relative to your target species on the sounder.
This reel is poised to be the new basic of powerful electric reels, with a body that is redesigned to be low profile, enabling the user to control with a single hand. The Thumb Rest Clutch and Quick Return Clutch further enhance your handling of the reel while MUTEKI MOTOR greatly increases the power and speed. A smoother and stronger drag is achieved with Carbon Cloth Washer and the newly added function Instant Stop allows the angler to instantly stop retrieving with just a press of a button.
